Morning walkers around the Hamilton Lake

Reflections, sun among the plants

A fallen tree in the water

Someone's old abandoned dugout canoe

Sailing away

I wonder what happened to the intrepid explorers who owned the canoe?

There is just something captivating about that half sunken canoe. It's a fantastic shot and just evokes so many thoughts.

Hello Dave,

what a beautiful weather is it there with you. Our ox the snow gone and the ice melted nicely. If I see your pictures so I'd want that I just might be. Lord Truly photos.

I love the photo with the old dugout canoe, there would be stories to tell there.

Fi, yes. So calm.
Shammickite, yes, I wonder. I think it was probably made by kids about 20 years ago. Only guessing though.
Maggie, yes. It makes you wonder, but I doubt if it is historic beyond being an effort by young people a few years back. I dont know though...
Helma, yes, as it is summer we are getting some nice weather now.... finally!
Karen, yes, it looks historical. But there again....? See my comments above? - Dave

Oh, I like those. If I'd been there, I'd probably tried to pull out that hand-dug canoe and take it home. I'd plant flowers/herbs or somthing. :P

Hi Karen. I think that canoe would be too bogged down to lift now... - Dave
