A closer view of one of the flower gardens - bedding begonias and blue salvias.

Bedding begonias up close, making up most of the gardens here.

Hamilton Lake Domain Flower Gardens
We drove into the Hamilton Lake Domain this afternoon and were very impressed by the beauty of the flower gardens. I had to photograph them and show them here. Our Hamilton City Council gardeners do a wonderful job of installing and maintaining such gardens, here and around the city, and as a citizen I feel very proud of them.

I took several pictures and will show more next time.

Happy New Year!!

Oh my, those flower beds are truly lovely. So colourful. My garden has gone to sleep for a few months.... Canadian winter has arrived, although it's not really cold out there today, but snow is in the forecast!
Happy New Year to you and your family.... may 2012 be good to you, lots more blogging, and lots more pictures to share.
